The S2 Intelligence racing team celebrated 3rd place in the NSW Formula Ford championship at the close of the 2008 season.

Driver Bruce McCabe and all associated with the team are delighted with this result, especially given the quality of the competition.

Our congratulations go to Ryan Simpson and Tom Tweedie of Anglo Australian motorsport for their outstanding season.

We especially want to thank Greg and Sonja Fraser of Redback Motorsport (www.redbackmotorsport.com.au) for making this a great year. They have been incredibly generous with their time and advice, and they know everything there is to know about engineering Formula Fords. To all future competitors: you will not find anyone in motorsport that is more professional to work with, is more knowledgeable, or has a more positive approach to racing.

We also want to thank Peter Larner (www.larnerengines.com.au) for building a great engine which ran flawlessly all season, and Jeff Senior, Championship Director for NSW Formula Ford 1600, for his constant kind words of help and encouragement.

This season was run on a tiny budget, and 3rd place was only made possible through the generosity, patience and good humour of all the friends who volunteered to work as pit crew through the year. A big thank you to Romain, Jason, Rob, Ben and Brian for giving up Saturdays and Sundays to pick up spanners and fuel cans whenever duty called! This trophy belongs to all of you.
