Kyle Wood and Redback Motorsport return to Wakefield Park for the second round of this year’s N,S,W Formula Ford Championship. Over two years the winning combination has been away from the sport a return for one round only could see a few scores settled.

Wood a previous race winner in his 98 Van Dieman will return with the same car and the same focus as he held in the 2006 Series. With a recent test day under his belt Wood goes to Wakefield confident he can get his Redback Ford up the front.

“I’m glad to finally be getting back in the car and do what I’ve been missing all this time.” Spoke a quiet but confident Wood.

If his previous results mean anything it won’t be long before the guys at the front see car 22 getting closer in their mirrors.

Newsflash

Fiesta class Formula Fords have been approved to enter the 2010 NSW Formula Ford Championship. The 1600cc Kent cars will still be the Championship Class.
