NSW Formula Ford provides stepping stone for young guns

At the beginning of the 2009 season the NSW Formula Vee Association and the NSW Formula Ford Association joined forces to award an under 25 ‘Young Gun’ driver who showed speed, maturity, consistency and passion throughout the 2009 NSW Formula Vee Championship season a chance to test a Formula Ford with the 2007, 2008 and 2009 NSW Formula Ford Championship winning team Anglo Australian Motorsport.

Ford is to throw a lifeline to thousands of historic Formula Ford racers worldwide thanks to a decision to put the legendary 'Kent' engine block back into production. Engineering work has already begun at Ford Racing’s Performance Parts division in the USA, with sales scheduled to start in 2010.
